The coursework entailed fulfilling a clients brief, our client being Hidden Armada and our brief (summarised) was to create a mini-game for their game 'Mutiny!' that was a gameplay cross between match 3 and whack-a-mole. For the initial half of the project (August 2015 - December 2015) I implemented a match 3 grid, animation state-machine, entity swapping system, mouse input controller, GitHub source control with accompanying usage documentation, and Technical Design Document upkeep. In the second half of the project (January 2016 - May 2016) due to a lack of communication from production and design myself and the two artists assumed those roles and shared the responsibilities they entail. At this point I was continuing work on and fixing the mechanics left behind from the other programmer; the scene management, scoring system, matching mechanic, and the whack-a-mole styled pop-up state-machine.
